John Booton, PMP
Director of Operations
John Booton is responsible for leading the overall aspects of operational staff to support the Task Force. He has applied project management best practices to commercial, state, and federal projects for 19 years. Before joining the Task Force, Mr. Booton managed CONUS and OCONUS staffing for the DoD and civilian agencies as the Vice-President, Programs for MicroTech, as Director of Domestic Staffing/Senior Project Manager for Furtron Incorporated, and as the Director of Information Technology for The Trane Company.
Mr. Booton has also managed large IT deployments equipment deployments with onsite installation. One of the largest IT deployments he led was for a Social Security installation of more than 1200 medium- to high-end video teleconferencing and multimedia rooms.
Mr. Booton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is also certified the Project Management Institute and ITIL/US027531.
